This video isn't going to enlighten a hardcore offshore racing fan. But for anyone on the "outside," it's compelling.

I think it's a taste of the thrill, passion and seriousness of what performance boat enthusiast feel when they turn the key. For us it's the milling area and a green flag but they are the same feelings for the for the avg offshore guy thats been waiting to race their nemesis all summer or Poker runner that has a grudge match with another boat at a big run. Let's not be naive we love this stuff because it's fast, dangerous and exciting.
