No breakage till three weeks ago, lost a cylinder head and then an impeller on the other engine two weeks later. Runs good now got about 7 more weeks.

Great reading your post! Sounds like you got some good runs in, and I'm glad to hear its running ok now! Enjoy the rest of the boating season..

New boat ran great, took some time to get used to the step hull, but all and all (happy) we put 66 hours on the boat this year. This was the most I have put on in one Summer.

boats been good to me this year. Had the trim motor go on me a month ago but fixed that in the driveway for $0.00 and am currently having a starting issue. Seems like a simple fix though.... (fingers crossed!)

Mine has been great. I pulled the 502 motors out last year and refreshed them, making them into HP500+ motors. They start right up and burn no oil. The added power increase is great, but I really dont care if I am NOT the fastest boat on the lake or not. I never have to work on it or have things go wrong. Next April 1, I will change the drive oil and engine oil and be ready for another flawless year. I really hope everyone else has the same.

Not so good, hit a boat that sunk as a result of Hurricane Ike in what showed to be 15' of water in the channel.

Broke the gimble and chewed up the coupler. Amazingly the drive seems to be OK it was covered in white fiberglass residue , even the prop survived.

Fortunately all was not lost. The Eliminator was running strong

Snapped crank in starboard engine memorial day weekend. Found out all 4 heads were cracked, installed new roller cams and aluminum heads. Got her back together the week after the fourth. Boat is running better than ever, didn't miss a lick during shootout weekend!

Broke the upper in my XR back in June. Bit the bullet and bought a new one and only missed a week of boating. Probably getting the old one rebuilt over the winter for a spare or to sell.

Boat has been amazing all summer. Smoked a set of clutches in the tranny but not a difficult fix.

Boat hell mine has been down all summer, builder said engines would be done in may, well the middle of aug, didnt make the power i expected but it is what it is, the tritoon kept us on the water most of the summer, just seem to be losing interest after all the bs with the engines kinda thinking of selling it and letting someone else put her together
