Was on the water in march, discovered a stress crack in the hull 2 weeks before memorial day, glass guy made the dead line and got me going two days before the holiday weekend. Reinstalled engine and drive, was all good until first week of August, electric fuel pump died, two days before a weeks vacation on the lake, local marina got me a new pump under warranty and I got it back together for the vacation. Rear main has a slight drip, I'm thinking that boring and stroking the block this winter will fix the leak...

Picked up "'new" boat a week before memorial day. I think I'm at about 40 hrs this season. Mostly small lake and one trip to Atlantic City. Never left me stranded but did install rebuilt drives, starter, alternator, rebuilt sea/fuel pumps, new cap/rotor/wires, cleaned vst, new iac's (still f'ing stalling), new trailer brakes, etc... Still need at least a partial interior.

Hi,

One of the best seasons for many years. Swopped from twin Merc 2.5 efi ss engines to one Verado 350 sci. Not one hick up, 84 hrs so far this season, 1/4 of the costs and only 4 mph slower (86 mph > 82 mph). However, miss the sound (like a helicopter) and accelleration. But my wifes loves it, so happy wife, happy life :)

Cheeers, Toffen

Twelve seasons on the Warlock and zero problems . Merc Racing H.P. 500 has been very reliable . I am thinking on building a 540ci for next season . Also very anal about maintenance and do not abuse my equipment even though i'm not afraid to run hard . I just wish summers were endless !!

I've been running a 496 stroker (517 hp/565 tq) with a stock bravo for years. No issues.I'd like to go bigger but why take the chance on stuff breaking? This year I gave up my slip after 14 years and traveled by trailer to see new water, places, and new people. Best summer ever! It was a great habit to break.

So far this year? Perfect! Good parts, good builder, and a good pit crew.
