I remember in the '80s we used to laugh at the Geezers that would come down from NYC wearing the whole Mr. T's starter set...go by Ralph Martin's place and pick out a new Top Gun...throw an 8 Ball on a line over the transom and go run up and down the ICW in front of Shooters trolling for whores!!!:evilb::evilb:
Those were the days!!! |

I would love to hear the sales pitch that Mrs LS would have gotten on trying to put that deal together! :food-smiley-007: |

I drove over the bridge last April on a saturday and there were no boats tied up there, I just assumed that it was too early in the day, 11:00. Great location and always a good time, probably a lot more to the story.

My 1st trip was with Bad Apple Brett. What a blast!

A guy that works with us used to work for the Valet at Shooters...said on an average night he would hit $250 in tips and $500 on Saturday nights. They even had Valet Docking. I put the Fire Sprinkler and Dock Hose system in for the original owner..Reg Moreau from Canada...the guy paid fast...with cash. He also owned Bootleggers next door. The City of Ft. Lauderdale was all over that place like a cheap suit. Don Johnson would show up every now and then as well as any of the Miami Dolphins that had boats. Bob Baumhower was a regular. |
