Image of the Week: The Perfectly Giant Raft-Up
Impressive lines of hardware, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...t-raft-up.html. As always, Jay Nichols does amazing work.
Now, those of you who were at the Lake Cumberland run: Try to find yourselves in the picture. |
Thanks Matt! and just from what I remember-
that view shows less than a quarter of the boats that were in the neighborhood. It was an amazing sight- we looped around a couple of times, so I got a number of different angles on the scene. :eekdrop: I gotta hand it to the folks at Lake Cumberland, that was some world-class rafting. :ernaehrung004: |
Awesome pic. This was still pretty early. Spotted us in the pic very easily at about 5:00. Mine is the white Checkmate with red center stripe that appears to rubbing noses with the end boat from the opposing line. Until they got more boats on their line, me and my buddy next to me in the white and purple Sunsation were constantly on watch to avoid hurt feelings and fiberglass rash.

That's a pretty cool pic...but I think this is still the ultimate raft-off.

We sure know how to party @ Cumberland, the pic from 3 years ago that shows the entire cove really puts just how many boats are there. :coolcowboy:

The other picture says it the Jackson river rally. It's not, it's the Jacksonville fire fighters poker run. On the st johns river.

Will correct. Jay sent me the picture with the words "Jacksonville, 2011" and I filled in the rest.
Sorry for the confusion. |
