From all my research, that is my best guess also. In this pic you can see it a little better without the cockpit cover. Looked at the copy of the NY Registration (IIRC Owner said he lost or didn't have the title) and it lists Manufacturer as "BA/BO"

On separate subject, didn't the Cig Firefox come out in the mid-80s?? Pretty sure an 80 Cig 24 footer would still be the "Cigarette 24" Model, not Firefox...regardless, this "BRT 24", or what ever it is, is certainly not a Cigarette "24" or a "Firefox".

Correct. This looks like an 8' Beam banana. The Cig Firefox was a 7' Beam 24 that was built in the mid 80's. It has a raised deck similar to this one, but it is very different. The 8' Beam early Cig 24's were never called Firefox's. A lot of people just refer to all 24's that way, much like they refer to all 38's as "Top Guns".

My mistake on the Cig 24 8' beam vs. the Firefox. What's
throwing me off is the low profile aluminum frame windshield
and the cable with mounts hand rail down the center of the
deck.
