Mph ????

I have a 25' sxt warlock cat that I'll be installing a blown 565 w/ about 800hp. will it handle a 32p bravo one 4 blade & what should approx. mph??? around 58- 6200 rpm.

assuming the drive is 1.5 ratio,800 hp should spin the 32p prop near 5500 in that lite cat,just my opinion.

what slip % are you using? 10% is real good %

I hope you have a drive that can handle the power. Your boat being a single engine cat can be very rough on drives (aka the guy pushing the throttles forward). Be EASY getting the boat onto plane, put a little trim in it and try to be smooth with the throttle and it should last for a while.

If the prop does not work, do not force it to work... you could very easily break the drive or possibly hurt the engine.

New Prop, $550..
New Drive, $5500++

Is 10% prop slip about average ? what other options besides the 32p bravo one 4 blade would be recc to lower the % ???
