As far as XT I wouldn`t send that **** my shoes to re-tie. Don`t ever say something he don`t like he`ll have a tantrum and then ban you for life (only in his mind) He should rename himself the SOUP NAZI .

as far as work goes for me this is what i have right now. Im just going to let you guys know up front that i dont bring alot of boats in at one time cuz i do have a full time job and that always has to take 1st priority. I will only do one complete at a time
this is what im for sure locked into right now
1. 27 fountian-complete
2. BZ's 42 - amount has yet to set
3. 1969 37 christ craft rommer seats and headliner...and this is the boat that makes sure i'm on the water anytime i'm off work so it gets whatever it wants.

XT Innovations stuff looks awesome, but I almost passed out when I heard their prices. I actually took a chance on a small shop near my house called Detroit Stitching (Flat Rock, MI). I actually intended to use Copy Cat Covers but what they sent me turned out to complete garbage and went back. I had the engine cover, rear bench, and captains seats done for $1350 early this year. The guys at my marina couldn't believe how nice it was and started referring everyone to him. I went back this fall to have my side trim re-done above the gunwales -- he did it for nothing, with leftover pieces from my job and said He'd got $20k in business because of my job...
I'm not saying drag your boat over here, the point is, there are lots of capable people doing this work, and don't be afraid to use one. Whether they are working out of their basement, garage, small shop. You could save yourself thousands by shopping around.
Before everyone goes, nuts, I'm not baggin' on anyone especially XT, their work is phenomenal, no doubt about it. A bit out of this bottom feeders price range, thats all.

Exactly. He probably has some little old lady tied up in the back room on a sewing machine...
I know two boats at my rack building who also used him this year, and I'm not sure his prices were quite as good for them, but still very cheap relative to what is out there.
