Hope they take that into consideration so you can get back into racing.

I believe that issue has yet to be resolved. At least that's what I gathered from Tony Marcantonio when we spoke a couple of days ago.

Chris we can accomodate your situation, easily. Call me .Your boat is a contenter and a safe one too.
Although race gas is not needed, we need to watch the stability of pump gas with ethanol very closely. Ive spoke to FST ( they make some of the best fuel filters)in florida, they claim we need to continously watch for water in fuel. They had same issue in Nascar.

Chris do you remember suggesting 530 cid for you in the past? Im sure everyone would assist to make this happen.
One to two rebuild a year and safe speeds (if theres such a thing) makes for some great racing, and then you have a "sellable" product if you like.

Dave thanks for the support, we have to do something. It was all the SUPERBOAT guys that pitched in on the decision, WHM,STIHL, and WARPAINT and of course Big John from SBI initiated it. You know me I cant stand racing one or two boats, drives me insane.

ps CHRIS , you can still make KW

Default New Superboat Rules

Should be interesting this weekend to see how my Cat lite boat at 8500lbs and 1190 total hp (7.14 lbs per hp) compares to Stilh and WHM with the new 750's or 1500 total hp at 9500lbs(6.33 lbs per hp) 12% difference.
I had asked if I could just modify my 525 efi Mercs to make more power so I could be at the same power to weight ratio as the other boats, but this was declined by Superboat. Would be nice to see Superheat in the new class but I am not sure how Superboat will allow this. Once you start making exceptions than the overall class rules will be compromised.
Bottom line is we need as many boats as possible in the class both for the Racers and the Fans!!

Spoke with SUNOCO race fuels tech guy, there are some issues to keep an eye on, Ethanol, winter/summer blend, etc...

Floater give me a call, I think we can or should work with any boats ...to a point...
