Well I think the 600 sci boat ran just under 100 on the limiters wrong prop... I bet that ilmor may see 102-103 no problem.
I wonder how much lighter and what the tweaking of the bottom on the svl 29 is worth....assume they have a 590hp 525 merc motor and it touchs a 100mph. |

Peters boat will be well over a hundred mph boat and close if not over 110mph. The Merc 600SCI boat ran 101 in stock form. The bottom on his boat is identical to the SVL race boat as are all the SV29's. Peter or myself will post sea trial results once we run the boat.

Hi!
I am a little confused. I see people say their Goldfish 29 runs 75 knots with an Ilmor 625 and 82 knots with a 750 hk inboard. 82 knots is 94,4 mph.. Maybe there are different versions? Cheeers, Toffen http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...psb631d4d1.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...ps81236300.jpg Its possible this is a water speedo and not 100% accurate, but it could be a GPS speedo, also it seems that there is room to improve as there are more RPM's to go before the 525 maxes out. |

Hi!
Thanks. Do you know what kind of prop and pitch they use. The Ilmor SV 29 looks stunning:) If I had to wait until mid Feb for such a nice boat, and if it was mine, I would have gone mental :) Cheers Toffen
