Tim....great shots as usual. That guy is amazing, real old school for sure. Thanks so much for covering these SEALS, everything they do is so much appreciated by the rest of us who enjoy our freedom because of them.

I found myself cheering the guy on going through the pics. Determination..... Something lacked in today's youths.
Tim, thanks for the shots. I hope they do it again next year as I would love to try it. |

Great photo work of an awesome event. I agree, that guy was incredible! Would have been fun to try it, but to be honest I wouldhavechickened out for fear of hurting myself.....

Especially tossing that sandbag like it were a basketball ... :eekdrop: http://sharkeyimages.zenfolio.com/im...58819428-4.jpg |

As stated earlier, this event was dedicated to the Memory of PO 3rd Class Denis C. Miranda
I also learned there was another event the same day in honor of him. It is called "NJ Run For The Fallen" . The runners started in Cape May, NJ and over the course of 3 days would end at the Vietnam Memorial in Holmdel, NJ over 120 miles away. Later that evening I took some time to go and provide coverage of that event as well. The woman I met at the SEAL CHALLENGE and informed me of the NJ Run For The Fallen was pleased to see me there. She noted she was disappointed not to see the mainstream media there. I forwarded the links to all of the newspaper email addresses I have and offered them the images free of charge in the memory of all our fallen heroes. It sure would be nice if the papers would do a post story of the event.
