Article in the August 2002 issue on the One Lap of America race/event. Pic and caption on the bottom of page 124 detailing how participants Gwen Butler and Matt Hubbard got married during the event. The blurb notes that the couple advertised the nuptials in big vinyl letters in the back window of their Porche 944, like so:

A memory they can keep forever - letting eveyone on the road, in the event, and in CD's circulation (1.2 million or so) that they don't know how to spell. OOOPS!!

Maybe they were just referring to 'altering' their lives...

It's too bad that Porsche back windows don't come with a spell checker.

I've been giving some more thought - could be that he (or she) is a tailor, and therefore this was just a clever play on words that didn't come across in the article.

But I'm thinking that's a long shot...
