Thats probably not a bad price for a ready to run custom painted boat, I have a 6 footer with gas engines. Boat, motors, drives, & rudder were 3500.00 add radio, rigging (you have to design & build everything) body work & paint, there is some serious time & coin involved. Randy

Awesome RC but dang bro... $8500 is kind of steep! I have actually been looking at a MTI replica and even with custom paint to my specs it isn't half that price! I am going to have the gas motors built and be in that speed range... does the electric motors add that much coin? I have seen micro turbines and they would be as they are 3-4k but ouch!

That's a 92" MHZ Mystic!! the boat itself is 1,300 Euros plus another $1,000 US to get it here .

http://shop.mhz-powerboats.com/Hulls...tic-C5000.html

Drives rudder and other running hardware prob another $1,000 just for starters. I'm building a couple 60" cats and have over 5K into each right now before paint. IMO a good price for a boat that big and ready to run

Here's a thread on the 62" MTI that I'm having built http://www.jrcbd.com/showthread.php?t=66193 enjoy!!

I had less than that in an 80 mph baja, I'm good with an rc boat that can hold a beer! Lol
