The way they showed it on TV it looked like it was the final turn on the final lap. And yes, things did look alot closer than what it proably was. I think it was the angle of attack that had people holding their breath.

After carefully revueing the tape and going over it with Gary, we find Gordo in fault. (Must be those damn canopy boats !). We tried to blame Bill but this time we were unable to. I am meeting with Gary this morning to attatch a secret "Battleing Ram" on the bow of the boat for Cleveland. This can also be used for ballasts!!! Mark Spates is going to glass it in so you can't see it, but it will be there !!! LOL Dave Warden

Default Dayumn! Tough Room!!

Dave,
Ok, I admit, there was a bit of a pucker factor involved. I tried to blame it on Bill also, but when everyone knows that Bill will always have the throttle shoved thru the dash, then I guess it still comes back to me. As for the ram, bring it on. Bill and I have been to "Farm X" looking into a radio controled rev limiter/radar gun. We point it at your boat and you lose 3000 rpm's. Unfortunatly, initial testing of the gun has not been positive do to OUR boat losing 3000 rpm's also.
That's ok. We'll come up with some diabolical plot to thwart You'alls diabolical plots.

Mike J,
Left is right, and right is Wrong!
Don't worry, I'm on the correct side of the fence.

And Nick! Mu Man !!! Name your price.

Gordo,
Just e-mail me your address and the tape will be on your doorstep within a week.

On a side note, Marathon part 1 and part 2 will be repeated Aug 10 and 17, respectively.

Dave,
I spoke to Steve about that, too! Now, that would be an awesome site!

Now, If only the silliness in the local arena would cease, we could get the show on the road...You know who you are!
