I think it only happened once. Don't get me wrong, if I had the coin I'd have a 40 skater along with the 41. Couple really nice ones in the classifieds. Dirty Duck or Lickity Split?

im not an expert but i think out on the ocean where there are big rollers the cat would have the advantage but on our lake where it is more like a five foot washing machine coming at you from every angle i think the deep v will kill it every time. just my thoughts

You guys are silly, thats old school cats. That is definately not a Skater. Everything changed when the 40ft Skater showed up.

SBI had to change the rules to allow the V's 3 motors just to try and keep up in Superboat class. That didnt even help.

He had to put them in a Different class, as Fountain needed to win, and he could not beat the 2 engine cats, much less when the 4 engine cats showed up.

But thats racing, not running for rings.
