MNdatory evacuation here in Long beach ny.... Schools are condemned, national guard with 6pm cerfew..... 3 shootings yesterday due to looting, people breaking into drug stores. What a disaster.......

When the storm hit you go into survival mode, got very lucky no damage to speak of. But now that the storm has past and I see the damage and hear what some of you are going through.....I'm sick over this. I was over Long Beach Island the Saturday before the storm wish I had know its going to be a long time before its back to normal if that even happens, I would have stayed longer. Stay safe guys

Thanks for posting the pic's and the information that you are giving, I know that it is appreciated by everyone. It really brings home the fact of just how fast your life can change and never take mother nature to lightly. It looks like a war zone, our thoughts and prayers for everyone.

The owner of the Range Rover was believing too many commercials if they thought that it was going to pass through 3 1/2 ft of water and actually make it!
