upgrade 502 to 525 fuel sys
 

Hi ,

I onw the Sea ray P 22 with 502 Merc on it , it's 2010 model.
It would be nice to have a bit more power than stuck 380 hp.
I found 525 intake and ECM sys as it shows .Can I put this in to my 502 with cam.?[IMG]http://www.iv.pl/images/71300433751949265058.jpg[/IMG]

That's a pretty nice motor. Are you sure you want to start hacking it up? Plus, doesn't have the cat converter on it? Not sure if that would work with the 525 stuff.

You might be better off selling that motor complete and buying something else.

The engine is catalyst so can't get to any mods.so far as I've been told...What else can do ?Don't see any other solutions...

8.2 mag is 430 hp...stilll under warr?? procharger will do a much better job...

and the only diffrence is ECM ...as I know so far ,both have dts so what if I swap the ECM's ?

Boats are not honda's. You shouldn't approach this hobby thinking you can swap around engine parts and see any appreciable speed gains.

Changing the fuel system isn't going to do anything other than cause problems. None of this is just bolt on and go.
