It was layed up in Florida under Chief. Carl Jobert, and Bobby Saccenti did the lamination schedule. It is a Kevlar, Carbon Fiber schedule. I dont know all the details on the entire schedule but it is not a balsa core boat. You would have to ask Bobby for any details on that.

I'm going to take a guess that the bottom is foam core. If there's a hit, foam will not suck up water like balsa.
