If I was to build a new boat again, yes. Get rid of all the frilly b/s and have plenty of bulk heads. Take a look at some of the Skater V cabins. Purpose built but usable.

That was a fun day. No hatch on the boat, about 40 degrees. And big water. Great day for a sea trial...lol. Day before and the day after, sun and flat water.....go figure.!
