Who would have thought the damage would extend all the way into Ohio?

Is most of this at Edgewater or Whiskey? I Know Whiskey is behind the break wall but is all this from waves coming over? wow

I know it is hindsight, but just surprised so many boat were in the water this late in the season. I saw marinas in my area working overtime last weekend to remove boats in the wake of the storm. The media coverage/warnings of this storm were further in advance than any I can remember

That's awful!! Makes me think there's going to be A LOT of boats for sale at cheap prices coming up soon. Just can't believe how much damage the storm did. I can't imagine what these people are going through.

I don't think that mattered as edgewater was just as tore up if not worse and thier docks were solid not floaters... Whisky was screwed no matter what happend... no shield for either marina from the lake...

Thanks for pics. Some messed up boats for sure.

Predicted storms always leave me scratching my head.
As 4bus mentioned, why are more boats not pulled or moved in advance of Huricane type storms?
Looks like several just broke their moorings.
I guess to answer my own question. It seems like too many owners dont know / care enough to take the proper steps to protect their possessions. They dont take the time to make extra preparations or spend the money on heavy enough lines, fenders etc and just expect the insurance companies to pay out.

Its no wonder our rates contiue to rise and coverage is becoming thinner with more loop holes.
