Outerlimits Powerboats is in route to the Key West World Championships. The factory SV43 race boat will be racing in the newly formed Superboat Extreme class and piloted by Joe Sgro and Brian Forehand. The Snowy Mountain Brewery SVL 29 will also be in attendence and being run by owner "Doc" Janssen and Brian Forehand. Also look out for the SL52 powered by Mercury 1350's being displayed in the water at the poker run docks. We are looking forward to a great race and poker run week!!

Thanks Everyone! I will keep the thread updated with pics as I get them and race results. Every Outerlimits built with our Monocoque bilge pan is rigged like that. From the SV29 to the SL52. The best rigging is the rigging you cant see. This SL44 with 1075's will be making the poker run as well and is currently for sale.
|
Dan, post some more pics of that truck.
|
Best of luck! Truly incredible boats!
|
Wow, that 52 is absolutely perfect. Post some more pics for those of us not making it down to KW this year.
Oh, and tell the 29 to steer clear of docks and no wake markers. :party-smiley-004: |

So, who does the post race inspection on the engine?:eekdrop:
Not to take anything away from Mike, or anyone at Outerlimits, but Forehand has "shown his hand" before. His so-called magic speed in the Fountain was proven to be Not so magic after all. I hope the Outerlimits SVL won the race on its own merits. |
What happened to the #43 boat?
|
The SVL looked great all 3 races...Congrats to OL....The other guys have to do some major modifications to keep with the OL next year...again congrats

My wife and I not only got a look at the 52 Outerlimits on the dock. We went for a 120 mph blast out through the bay, and 80+ in some 8 foot seas. The Handling and acceleration of the boat is incredible. Thank You Mike Fiore and Tony for the ride!! Tom.

I've never been on a 52' boat so I have no means of comparison but been in real 6's and turned around in my 33'. But 8s at 80? |
