NXT drives

I have a 38 Donzi with 700s and NXT drives .What is the best way to clean and get the pits out of the lower units .I would like them to shine and be smooth thanks Kurt Scheffenacker ...

Not sure on the pitting, but just to get 'em clean, WD-40 and a scotch-brite works well.
