Warpaint had a power steering failure early on and had to drop out of the race. They'll be back Friday with Bob Vesper driving and Billy Moore throttling.

Credit where credit is due: The coverage today was much more professional and informative. Having guys like Nigel Hook and Marc Granet stop by made things even better.

Day 3 coverage:

Race 1: commentators didn't know that tilted kilt completely stuffed it into a wave. They saw it stand up, but thought they stayed running. The cameraman caught the incident on video pretty good. Not sure why they were interviewing Rick M right during the middle of the race; they were too busy talking about aquamania and their turbines instead of covering the race.

Race 2: the camera didn't consistently follow the leaders that, often missing the battles going into the turns. Major feed interruptions, plus the camera went to the sky, crowd, anchored boats, and booth during the racing action.

Race 3: Good coverage.

Not sure why the commercial breaks happen in the middle of the short races. At least the video stays rolling during these breaks.

All in All it was better than nothing. However, audio was horrible and screen froze or buffered at the worst possible time. The start.
