I can't believe they didn't collide. Anyone hear why they were entering the turn so hot?

Strange accident in so much as Gasse was quite a way ahead entering the turn then before you know it Mary Mac is almost running over the Gasse stern! So glad they're OK. Hats off to the rescue teams.

It looked like Gasse was taking on water after the race was over. What was wrong with it ?
