When I raced go carts if I could not get around the guy infront of me I would just not hit the breaks comming into a corner and punt them out of the way, maybe that was there plan.

WEd whne we watched th race at the corner there where several spin outs 3- 5 boats outs I think its the conrer and it does not belong in an offshore race. Just my thougt glad no one was hurt

Strange accident in so much as Gasse was quite a way ahead entering the turn then before you know it Mary Mac is almost running over the Gasse stern! So glad they're OK. Hats off to the rescue teams.

It looked like Gasse was taking on water after the race was over. What was wrong with it ?

Looking at the picture, you never drive up the stern of a raceboat.

Back in my go kart days, the next time you hit the track you would have been on your head. That comment was said like a true 'no neck!' I'm guessing when you got out run you said,"I'm cheating an y'all out run me so y'all gots to be cheatin to!" :lolhit:

I was glad to see everyone was safe. Not sure why racing doesn't get black flagged for a major incident, like auto racing, until the situation gets stabilized. It was painful waiting for them to escape as the other boats continued along. Do you have any idea why they were going so fast into the turn?

This is truly a great sport that deserves wider coverage.
