sbi at fountain
#21
An FYI for those going who aren't racing - I called Fountain yesterday to see if there were any special deals with tickets (there aren't) and was told the pits are only open to the public for the Friday night party and maybe after the race Sunday. Viewing is from the park at the end of Whichard's Beach Road. (If you haven't been there before, drive past the plant and keep going to the end of the road.)
Hmm. What to do on Saturday since I'm not in the poker run?

I have room on my entry for 4 guests that are full access. E-mail me with names and I would be glad to add them to the list.

TOO OLD I am not sure what they are saying to you but the dry pits are outside the fenced in area, so there is no way that they can keep poeple out of the dry pits. There is not efficient room inside the fenced in area for all of the boats. Maybe they are talking about the wet pits which are in the water.

Too Old/Roger: It didn't make too much sense to me either (since we were allowed in the dry pits at the APBA race in 2000). All I know, is I was talking to Carol Price and since she's organizing the race, she SHOULD know. I figure I'll take Clackster's offer and see what transpires from there.
