Thank you GlassDave. The boat is well built and the styling is classic. Would be great to see one in the OPA Class 7 some day. Thanks again and please spread the word!

I think the 21 Scout would be a fierce competitor.
Does the Scout still qualify by the OPA Racing Rule Book?

It's been an honor being on the Apache forum but I believe it's time for the Defender 21'
Scout have it's own identity. I am requesting Defender Powerboats inc.have it's own
space on the owners forum. The thread has over 15,000 views and believe the amount
will grow on it's own Defender owners forum. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Thank you,

Yes sir it would. Would be a Bad to the bone race boat. Nice light layup, can leave out all the personal powerboat stuff. Some nice bolster seats, center concel with throttle controls.

Would be a class 7 boat.

You would be in class 6 with an io. That class has a max speed of 70mph. max boat length of 26ft. What i can tell class six is a super competitive class.

Ok. With a stock 350mpi mine couldn't be competitive in 6 with the 70mph speed and everyone else running 800's propped to 70mph. lol

Any plans for a cc version? I sold my 87 scout w/300X two
Years ago it was an awesome boat. Just needed something a little more versatile with the kids. Thought about having the deck cut and modified but couldn't do it to such an awesome boat.
