Scarab63, saw your posts on the "apache scout ?s" thread. Did you mean Bob Saccenti ? The Scout molds belong to Defender but Bob is very involved with the Scouts comeback. Between the new Chief race boat "Warpath" and the Scout, he's keeping pretty busy.....
Very cool boat. Any tweaks planned to design? My bud did buy that 95 scout with a merc 300x I was talking about on the other thread. I got about 10 minutes seat time in it. It's a fukkin handful!!!! |

What part of Miami are you in ? Any plans on buying the 41 molds ?
|
Defender 21' Scout
No plans in acquiring any 41' molds. I'm focusing on the smaller range of performance boats, primarily the 21' Scout.
I'm in the Kendall area of Miami. Looking for something in the 40 range? |
What kind of materials and methods are planned?
Do you have a target weight in mind? And BTW, I love the idea of redoing these classics! |
