Default Destin/Fort Walton area Ermrald Coast Poker Run

So me and a fairly large crew keep making it down for Billy Bowlegs. and love it. pretty familiar with the water, from Sand Destin to Pensacola.

But I am thinking about towing down for this run, and staying on the boat. (AC, Shore power, and Genny) for 2-4 nights and checkign out this run.

what i am looking for is a marina, that has a transit dock with power, and showers? is there any? even if i have to come up to the north part of the bay?

Have you checked with legendary marine? I am pretty sure they have transient slips.

How is Billy bowlegs thinking of coming this June? Is crab island crowded all week? What else goes on that week?

I have a few threads on billys. been 3 years strait, and planing on a 4th. great time for sure.

Crab island is the place most days. Buts Satruday, the actuall BILLY bowlegs party is not at crab island.

its on the fort walton side at the sand bar there. its will be PACKED, and packed early. we leave the house (with boats docked at house) at 6-7am. and its only 10 min away. to get a spot on the main line.

GREAT party. good times LOTS OF crazy ness. crab island is the busiest the next day (Sunday). more laid back but most the same poeople.

Ft. Walton Yacht Basin is a good place to keep your boat. It's roughly within 100-200 yards of the party. Phil can answer all your questions. (850) 244-5725
