I would only be able to race 2 or 3 times a year.
I am certainly not retired at age 39 and won't be for 25 more years.
It would be a hobby not a lifestyle.

yea sure . . . . . the way you run
Its do-able for less even in SuperCat. Done as a hobby you would have a blast for sure,

I love the idea of that. Something a bunch of guys could go in on. Perfet boat for that. Some day....

MOST of the boats in the class ARE older boats. I believe with some seat time and set up this boat would be a great cantidate for it. The WARPAINT boat in Key Wet was fresh out of the rig shop with ZERO test time and a crew that had NEVER been in a boat together.

you should buy it then. the class can use filler boats and you can stare at the transom of the other mtis. crc was right there with warcry so rerig or not being competitive is what racing is about

Why not just race it the way it is in Class 1. It would be very competitive. And yes $10,000 a race is very close for just a couple races a year. With Travel, Accomendations, Entry Fees, Fuel, Props, maintenence, Year end rebuild and depreciation. Plus you gotta support your fiberglass guy.
