Today is the big day

After almost 2 years I finished the Scarab last night.
I am leaving now to pick up Shane and head down to Typhoon Marine to start the engine in the boat for the first time. I feel like I am dreaming , I never thought this day would come. It wouldn't of been possible if it wasn't for the help from everyone on OSO and especially Shane , CheeckmateF1, and Chris232 who was able to fabricate the parts I needed to make my headers fit. Chris if it wasn't for you the boat would still be sitting in the driveway. Thanks again. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed for me. Well it's time to hit the road. I'll Keep you posted.

Guys I just talked to SHane. He and Paul are on the way home now. They never got the boat in the water until 7:30. Except for being way over propped, everything worked out fine. I imagine one of them will post details later. At least it runs and is seaworthy now. Paul must be pretty happy.
