My boat video.
Did this project 10 or so yrs ago aiming for a 115 mph toy. It had it in it but once I got it to 95 it fought me every step of the way! I made more trips to the ramp and back trying to bust a 100 and coming home w/my tail between my legs. Pretty much an entire summer.
During one of my Fla escape trips (while still living in Ohio) I got together w/some of my Cracker friends and went to their favorite, fast water. Same thing though. 96, 97, 98 etc, etc, etc.
Knew the boat had way more in it but was burnt out and just wanted to pop 100. Came in after one pass and the freagin GPS said 99.9 for crap sakes!
Anyhow, finally a pass at 101. Kinda cool w/my friends there, gf at the time, orig video had AC/DC playing and showed GPS and tach recall at 7500. Being JohnRude powered that speed was doubted by some of my Merc owning friends so that video was very popular in its day
