Yea no room for a remote res in there. So if you are ok in normal conditions then I would say its not lack of fluid its due to sloping around. So if you swap them the baffle will prevent that. If you look at larger boats even with twin 525 some are running just this reservoir in place of what you have.

if its not hot or foamy then the lack of a baffel in your setup is the problem. Tell us what Latham says but I'm sure its for heat expansion and over flow purposes. Flat rate- It has 1 in and 1 out 3/8 in 1/2 out like drawing states.

I ordered the Latham reservoir shown in post #1. They said that the large empty space is to allow for sloshing. Expansion will be minimal. It is OK to overfill it a little and it should fix my problem. For almost $600 total it better! It sure is purdy.

This came today. I ordered it through Teague and saved almost $100. It is supposed to improve oil flow and stop it from sucking air on rough water. It's gonna bling up the 525 a little too!
