I believe the movie has had a part added to the original story. I followed it throughout in in '95/'96.
In the actual story the "heroes" killed the bad guy by accident. That is how it all hit the news. The movie looks to have a story line that has the bad guy come for them now after they successfully ripped him off in the '90s.
Either way it's a Bay movie and will be fun, fast and give us cool Miami shots to watch.
