Got this from a buddy of mine this morning. Headed south on I-57 in Illinois.
Sure hope no one was hurt. I searched but didn't see any threads on this yet. Does anyone have any information about the accident, hoping to hear good news about the driver(s).

All,
Most importantly, driver is OK, no one hurt.
The weather on HWY 57 was very bad December 20, 2012 when this happened. Unfortunately when our driver was getting ready to pull off due to weather and black ice a semi came by and it put truck and trailer into spin. The coupler broke off the trailer and left boat on it's STBD side. While sitting on it's side, it quickly fell over. When the next gust of wind came up and it ended up on its top. It is right side up now and back home. It was a 2008 40 MTI, 700 Boat on flat, not tilt trailer. This happened at MM213 in Tuscola, IL and we are just happy no one got hurt and boat not to bad, more dirt than anything.
Boat only has a few bruises and no structural damage so when done, it will be as beautiful as new and have new paint job, new interior to match and windshield. Just some scratches, light damage on port corner and back of bustle, broken skag and portion of windshield broken. We got real lucky that it tipped over into grass vs cart wheeling down highway or hitting concrete.
Most importantly no one hurt.
Have a great 2013
