Default Need Bling Coolant Tank Cover

Who has the deals on a coolant tank cover? I need one for a 525. I'd like a blue aluminum one.

I've seen the carbon fiber ones and anything is better than the plastic tank but I think that Mercury Racing Blue would look better. This is what I had on the old 496 which is long gone. It came from F&M Machine and they don't make one for the 525.

Not sure if the 525 has the same tank as the 496 but they look the same. These guys make "Bling" for the 496 and their cover might work. http://www.customcowlings.com/

What part looks terrible? Does this look any better? (This pic also shows that the 496 & 525 reservoirs are not the same!)

Much better!

IDK to me the covers you had on the 496 just look awful. Maybe it is because they are just flat stock?

check with these guys

You know, the 496 is just a fugly engine. I figured anything would look better than the stock huge plastic engine cover. Anyway, that engine was shipped to Germany. Thanks for that link. It might be what I want and I will call them now.

You could get the real deal and go Mercury.

Merc part 8M0001413 .

It will cost ya more than 5 bills though.
