All **** aside all 3 boats are great.

Some people love the V-hull, some the Cat, no one is right or wrong.

They don't anymore. You of all people should know that Fountain isn't building boats.

Now Clifford/Saber, that's more like an erector set. Not as pretty and colorful as the plastic lego's, and of course you can't look at the box and duplicate the build.

My 2 yr. old son prefers lego, I can't wait for him to see the value in an erector set.

....... only giving it to you since you have proven that you can take it!!

No 37 Hustler cat will run with Clifford in the rough! Maybe 3ft but not 6 ft. The 42 fountain might handle the rough but you will be putting the cabin back together afterwards. Ask Dan Adams what handles better...he owns both

I suppose that anyone on here vouching for the rough water capabilities of their boat will make an honest attempt at attending the Onion Run. Except for MTV's TRL, of course.

It's kind of ****ing obnoxious that you keep inserting your classified ad in a bunch of threads touting what a great deal your boat is. Seems to me if it was a deal people couldn't pass up on it would be sold by now.

I didn't start this thread, but responded to it. As to comparing a 41 apache to a hustler 377, I know too little to comment...

Personally, I don't go out in very bad weather - to me, it's not fun.

I do know the difference between 105 mph and 135 mph.

Yeah, my boat is listed for sale. If you think the apache is a better deal you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

.

Good weather on lake erie is 2-4's

Normal is 4-6's

I'd say 95% of the time I took out my 46cig I was catching air and throttling like saccentie

BraceYourself 01-11-2013 11:21 AM

Well maybe a slight less accurate then saccentie,
hence 5 trannies and two 6's

Last night I was a little fedup with hearing this comment. I apologize for my comment about Fountains. They developed and built a fast hull, a great accomplishment.

I do own both brands, and I know we cannot compare apples to oranges but continue to try.

From reading what has came along since last night has re-assured my complete respect for the majority of OSOs members.
