Bottom line, for someone who doesn't care about brand names and wants a superior rough water boat this is a deal. As stated before, asking price is probably a third of the cost or less of a new one, and this boat was well cared for by it's owner. If not for his untimely passing this boat would not be on the market IMHO. If you want to go really fast in 2-3's get something else.

If I had known this I would have never posted anything. I have heard nothing but good things how Apache boats are great rough water boats. Sharp looking too. Rick |

I didn't start this thread, but responded to it. As to comparing a 41 apache to a hustler 377, I know too little to comment...
Personally, I don't go out in very bad weather - to me, it's not fun. I do know the difference between 105 mph and 135 mph. Yeah, my boat is listed for sale. If you think the apache is a better deal you are certainly entitled to your opinion. |
Did someone say its winter time......................:food-smiley-007:

I love Sea Ray Pachangas...and Envisions. They are both better than either an Apache or a Hustler cat....IMHO.

Last night I was a little fedup with hearing this comment. I apologize for my comment about Fountains. They developed and built a fast hull, a great accomplishment.
I do own both brands, and I know we cannot compare apples to oranges but continue to try. From reading what has came along since last night has re-assured my complete respect for the majority of OSOs members.

Every thread isn't a springboard to promote your boat.
