Very nice, any one of those would be fine for me! :lolhit:

This picture could have even been better if Dennis' 36 White Skater and Erik's 44 MTI were in it but they were up the cove when this picture was taken. Jim Lee's Freedom was also not at the lake that weekend.

Jay did mention that there we a couple of cats missing due to other commitments, breakdowns and such that weekend. Still, what a nice "little" grouping.

As Bubba said it was quite a weekend that started on Thursday and lasted until Sunday afternoon. What was really funny was nobody wanted to take their boat out the weekend before because they were scared they would break and not be fixed in time to be in the photos and magazine.

Go-fast boat magazine photos shoots are well known for bringing out mechanical gremlins. Worse still? Boat tests. I've endured boat-testing days where half of an eight-boat test fleet didn't make it back on its own power.

In all serious, it sounds like that was one hell of a weekend.

So, how long did that "phase" last? What percentage still have cats?

Non-stop, dude. I ain't lyin. :cartman:

Jim Lee loaned us the use of his lake house for the duration.
It's maybe a hundred yards from Cherokee.
(thanks again, Jimmy!)

The bar at Cherokee had an IT guy come in and we ran a slideshow off my laptop to all the screens in the bar at night. The place was packed- 100% boaters.

That was the closest I've ever felt like a rock star. :thankyouthankyou:
Awesome. A lot of it had to do with the fact that I already knew a lot of the E-Dock peeps from interaction here and at some of the runs.

No awkward 'getting to know you' phase, just straight to the bar. :lolhit:
