I've seen the boat over at the shop when I've driven by Velocity a while back. I did some land clearing right behind the shop for HR2. Innovation makes one hell of a motor. It should run like a raped ape for many years.

No...the Velocity 290SC has the same bottom as the VR1. I bought a 2004 290SC and loved it. It was the fastest 29' single boat power for power on my Lake.
She handled like a Corvette on water with capabilities oif handling high speed turns that you just wouldn't do in a Stepped bottom boat. They are very light boats and very fast!!

I still have not turned my VR1 like CT did when we went for a test drive! My uncle and I were melted to the frickin seats!
