Make sure you check the transom and stringers/floor so you know what you are getting into... a boat sitting outside without a cover for a long time can be trouble.
Looks like a cool hull!
Also looks like a junk yard for R2D2 in the background.

Thats a great looking scarab! Agree that you really need to check floor, stringers and transom. The boat and engines for $6500 sounds decent but do you need drives, transom assemblies? Trailer? How is the interior? Does it need new vinyl? Gauges? How is the cabin? I hope you see what Im getting at. You can easily be into this boat $15000+ I just hope you are prepared to spend some money. I love older scarabs but you are almost always better off finding one that is complete and ready to go. Trying to put one back together will be an expensive task (especially if you have to redo the stringers, transom and floor).

looks bigger then 30 feet,,if the engines are staggared whih means the engines are not side by side and the front drivers seat has a double seat then its a 79-83 scarab 377..if it is 30' then i could be a scarab panther..

The cover was stolen this year. The interior has always needed redone & last time I checked both small blocks ran. I have a replacement transom assy for the broken one. I really need to sell a few projects to finish the current ones. So yes it was legal to run when I bought it. Randy
