No, OSO is not sponsoring a party for the Miami boat show.

BTW, I really don't know for sure, but I would assume that it would have been posted somewhere if they were.

OSO is internet brands, which includes websites for stay at home moms, to model mayhem and everything inbetween. IB is owned by Hellman & Friedman, a private equity group. I somehow doubt they are the least bit concerned about throwing a party in Miami for a couple powerboaters from one of their zillion websites. Their only intrest in you is that you look at ads and maybe click on one or two.

I own more or less the west coast version of OSO for River type stuff.. I'm going to the Miami boatshow, and have already had some people ask if I wanted to put on a shindig of sorts just to get together some boat mfg's that are advertisers on my site that will be in miami.

I've never been to Miami but I have a hook up at the Fountain Bleu? (not sure if I spelled that right).. If you guys just want to get together for some like minded cocktails and shaking hands and kissing babies kinda deal.. I could throw something together real quick through the connects I have.

Not that big of a deal for drinks and social. You guys can call it the OSO get together or whatever ya want. I'm not out there to spam my interests on the web, more just checking out the show and seeing how the east coast guys do it.

Let me know if I crossed a line there mods. Just trying to help out if nobody else is gonna step up, since I'm going to be out there anyways and I'm already getting hit up about it by a few people. I wouldn't expect a party at the hard rock or anything, just a place / time / nice atmosphere for some members to say hello to each other and maybe meet some industry types kinda deal. Real informal.

We had a great time in Miami 2008. Industry friend invited us to the hotel pool party.
Weather was great, scene was great and bikini show was awsome!

There was a guest list but fairly informal.
Looks like the promotion stopped or the guest list has gotten tighter.......

Glad our lowly group was admitted, it was a highlight reel night!

So which one would you rather be at? Bear in mind I'm from Lake Havasu and this is my 1st trip to Miami.
