There is also Kanberra Gel, another tea tree oil product. We've been using it whenever we close up the boats for several years now.

Mildew is mold. Basically keep things clean, dry and warm.

Ozone machine. Kill the source, don't cover it up.

I have a terrible time with moisture, water, mold, etc. The more I cover up the boat in the winter, the worse it is. The one time I paid to shrink wrap it was the worst ever. Looked like someone threw green paint all over inside the cabin. Indoor heated storage and leave everything opn is the ultimate but pricey. I am outdoors and have never figured out any solution.

Ive heard of putting in an opened bag charcoal will keep out moisture and mildew... havent tried it though, so couldnt say if it works or not. I rented indoor storage this winter, worth every penny.

Wash everything and then put in a Dehumidifier plus a fan.

Yup, get the boat clean and dry prior to covering it for storage.
