I had the pleasure of watching a smart wild eyed kid stay grounded, used his head and rose to what I consider to be one of the best in his field. I tell him just about every time I see him he should write a book...he just gives that smile and then starts talking about all of his note books that he writes stuff down in.
Can you imagine...I mean seriously!!??
He gets into telling me and showing me the graphical map of the engine management software that HE WROTE THE CODE FOR...HELLO!!...and how it analyzes the 8~10 key elements of combustion efficiency every milli second and adjusts the ECM to factor in the best blend of timing, mixture, fuel pressure, etc to compensate for thousands of variables...and he can access YOUR engine anywhere on the planet 24/7 and see what your set up is doing and make manual adjustments from thousands of miles away!!! Tommy is very humble and said to me once..."I don't think most people even believe what I'm telling them about how this works". I tell him don't worry about it...they will come around eventually after they see it thru a few times.
Genius my a$$...I think he had extra terrestrial visitors one day from another "place" and programmed him to be "The One" in this gig!!!

Talk about your fun "Sleeper"...it's fun just thinking about how much of a rush that would be.

I might have to save up and get Tommy to build me a pair of 1000 horse Chiefs that I could move from boat to boat as I upgrade. Like a old 302 Formula would be Bad A$$ with 2000 horsepower. I wouldn't really need to run over 75~80 but it would be cool as $hit to be able to have something as a sleeper that would accelerate like a bullet.

Tommy has a 20' Chaparral Bow rider with a 650 horse 502 on a XR that he amazes the locals with on the weekends.
