Thanks Everyone

Meghan is out of the hospital and home doing good. They are not certain what caused the episode, but are leaning towards low blood sugar. She just has to follow up with her regular doctor for an EEG just to make sure there is no other cause.

Just so everyone knows Meghan was diagnosed at age 2. Two weeks before her 3rd birthday. So she has had diabetes for 10 years. This is the first time anything like this has happen. It really throws you for a loop when it is your own kid laying on the floor convulsing. Thankful that she seems to be fine other than a bump on the head and being tired.

The first year is the hardest. You are still in the honey moon phase. It gets easier to deal with (most of the time) after that. Just treat them like they are normal and I am sure your son will be just as happy as every other kid. Another thing is there is no groove, even when you have it figured out, it will change. Just roll with the punches.
