Equal power the 280 Velocity is faster (and bigger) plus the seats are not designed for little people.

Oh, almost forgot....Velocity boats don't sink at the dock like 32 Fountains.

I'm not stuck on Fountain but I do have a chance for a great deal on one locally. Single owner, always stored in heated garage, very well maintained, extra goodies, etc.

I do like the cabin and cockpits on the Baja 280's. Wish the eng cover/sun pad was a little bigger, but I suppose every config has it's pros and cons. Looking around I can only find 280 Sport models. Whats the difference between the Sport and Force models?
From what I have been able to learn is that the 88 and newer models were the sport. The older models were the Force. The Force models I have seen had side by side seating and no molded swim platform. Plus the wind sheild on the Force were the older square frame type. Where the Sport has the molded plexi.

I was sold my boat and told it was a Force. It does not say on the title what it is, but I would say it is probably a sport.
