BTW, no I don't use my sink except to throw some wet rags or trash into.
Yup, must have Head (in Canada it must be permanent), galley and sleeping berth to qualify as second residence or more important...in Canada it has to be a "bonifide residence" to consume alcohol once moored.

Excerpt from IRS publication 936
"For you to take a home mortgage interest deduction, your debt must be secured by a qualified home. This means your main home or your second home. A home includes a house, condominium, cooperative, mobile home, house trailer, boat, or similar property that has sleeping, cooking, and toilet facilities."

Here ya go. I put a 9 gal tank in the captains locker behind the sink. I also used a wash down pump for the sink and added a wash down hose fitting on the transom. The hose is great to rinse the boat and we use it as a shower if were in salt water.

We do have a memory foam pad and it helped but still not as comfortable as we would like. Not sure how thick it is so maybe we need to get a thicker one. Thanks.

My Sunsation had a sink. I peed in it a few times while too drunk or too lazy to walk down the docks in the middle of the night. That's about all it's good for. Just make sure it drains out of the hull and not into the bilge like most coolers do.
