One when you step in the cuddy across from the head and one in the head that can be used as a shower in the head. But no hot water.

How about this one! I dont use the faucet but I do use the sink, it holds the package of "Wet Wipes" LOL. I love those travel packs, they are so handy!! I take poor mans bath with them.
Not to open another can of worms, BUT, the built-in cooler on my boat is nice but you cant keep ice in the darn thing. I cant believe they didnt insulate it! I thought about getting underneath and try to insulate it somehow. |
I don't have a cooler - I have a small fridge. We used to keep all the perishables in the fridge and everthing else that you want to keep cool in the cooler stuffed under the passenger bolster.
Could hold enough food and fuel for 4 days of port hopping. |
Ours has both a sink in the cockpit and mid cabin. I just removed the faucet from the cockpit sink as we NEVER use it, but the sink is a great "catch all".
Next year I plan to install a small 3-5 gal poly tank and a electric pump to feed the faucet in the mid cabin. right now it has a soft bag you fill. http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/...IMG_0189-1.jpg http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/.../IMG_27361.jpg http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/...02/mid-1-1.jpg |

Yup, must have Head (in Canada it must be permanent), galley and sleeping berth to qualify as second residence or more important...in Canada it has to be a "bonifide residence" to :party-smiley-020:consume alcohol once moored.
I also read that you must spend atleast 14 night on boat to qualify. I will be doing that. |

You guys have me looking into this tax thing!! Im having trouble finding a good definition for "galley" though. The cuddy in my 29' fountain has a sink and faucet, Potta-potty, but GALLEY? Is my cuddy a galley?. I have a really small microwave I can set in there!? Does that count?! Seriously?!

Yeap sleeping berth, head (portapotty), and galley (portable propane stove). Started taking the deduction back in 1996 on my first boat, Baja 260 but I had a one burner electric stove in it.

I never has a sink until I had my Mistress, so nice to have for brushing teeth, I overnite every weekend in it all weekend, so washing and teeth brushing are nice... especially after wrenching in the middle of the lake!!!
The cooler insde actually works better then I though, I use that for sandwiches at the sandbar, keeps a bag of ice almost all weekend, kind of surprised for a 28 year old cooler.... |

Here ya go. I put a 9 gal tank in the captains locker behind the sink. I also used a wash down pump for the sink and added a wash down hose fitting on the transom. The hose is great to rinse the boat and we use it as a shower if were in salt water.
