agreed, imagine how worse it could have been if not for the advancements we've made over the past twenty plus years. I am amazed at some of the subtle changes that have saves numerous lives. Pea gravel on road courses and even something as simple as eliminating the apron inside the turns at Indy. Lots has been done and they are always working harder to be better and safer next time out.

Move the finish line away from the stands. Finish the race on the back straight or third turn on the super speedways.
