29 fountain vs 28 donzi zx
Looking at them, I like both of them some things I like better on one vs the other but still having a hard time making a decision. The fountain has twin 6.2's and the donzi has twin 350's. They are only a year apart in age and there is a 10k price difference. What is everyone's opinion on them? Rough capabilities? Cockpit size differences?

Considered a fountain but a single blue motor was hard to find in my area at the time. Looked at three donzis all had spider cracking in the hull that was visible inside ans out this was in storage area under berth near vee of hull and on outer strakes in engine room both sides of hull. Then found a 292 fastech in my area and loved it
Deep cockpit and good performance from the twin 350s plus a full windshield.
The fountain is fastest. Donzi is second.
Donzi cabin is small. Did not go in fountain cabin at all but love the ride of my friends 27 fever

what years? steps or now steps? hours on the motors? i think the donzi's dry wight is higher so will take the ruff stuff alittle better. i dont know much about the 6.2s but i do know the 350s r bullet proof as long as u do the routine stuff. and with that being said im a donzi guy so u know where i stand.

I have sold both. The twin engine fountain is azz heavy and rides rougher. They have to use the old bottom when using twins. It has the small step. So really your getting an old design. Buy a single 29 before either.

T, man you still looking! Lol
Been in the Donzi, but not the beak.. you would be getting a 27` boat either way? Not much of a jump from our 25s ( talking riding surface here)

Whatever you do don't buy a twin 29 Fountain, haven't been in the Donzi. I have a 29 with a single 575 and the boat is well balanced and kicks serious A$$!!!
